It's the Fusion In-Mould Technology that provides reliable head protection. A durable outer shell provides a strong and sturdy construction, capable of taking the hard knocks of mountain biking. This is bonded to an EPS foam liner, designed to soak up and dissipate the forces of head impacts during a crash.
This sturdy construction is backed up by MIPS, an innovative system that enhances protection from rotational forces in the event of a crash.
MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System)
Made to meet and exceed international standards, Bell turn to MIPS to add an extra layer of head protection to their Spark 2 helmet. This split-plane technology gives an extra level of brain-protecting technology, designed to redirect energy and provide more protection in certain impacts.
This system is integrated into the fit system, reducing weight, simplifying the design and optimising ventilation.
