This trail-ready mountain bike (MTB) rim features a robust maxtal aluminium construction, that uses its triangular rim shape to absorb heavy impacts, so you can hammer through rough terrain with confidence. Developed, tested and proven to meet the standards of downhill (DH) racers and enduro riders, its wider 28mm internal rim width ensures that you'll benefit from its increased grip and excellent stability. From hard-hammering rocks to hard landings and big compressions, this premium gravity-oriented rim is engineered to deliver a strong and reliable roll, while the use of Mavic key technologies makes it efficient and comfortable to ride.

Technologies:

Maxtal: Light and strong. Exclusive to Mavic, this specific aluminium alloy offers a higher strength to weight ratio than conventional 6106 alloy.

SUP (Soudé Usiné Process): Stronger and smoother joint. After bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish.
